Applications are invited for ONLINE Interview over Microsoft Teams for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an Oil India Limited (OIL) sponsored project titled, “Study of Peak Shaving in Drilling Rigs” in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, IIT Guwahati.

Minimum Qualifications Required: B.E./B.Tech in EE/EC/CS/IN or equivalent
Candidates with the following will be preferred
1. Knowledge of electrical circuits and power electronics
2. Knowledge of Matlab programming
3. Previously worked on any kind of electronic hardware project
4. Interest in higher education (Candidates with M.E/M.Tech may also apply)

Ph.D. position

Candidates having only B.Tech/B.E. degree may apply for Dual MS+Ph.D. degree. The advertisement for Dual MS+Ph.D. degree selection is given once a year in March on IIT Guwahati's webpage. Please note that if you are truly interested in doing research and pursue Ph.D, you should apply for the dual MS+Ph.D degree program. The program is not suitable for candidates who presume to quit the program after doing MS.
